I'm an angel investor, co-founder, and former tech executive. My focus is backing and building companies that use technology to make financial services fairer, more accessible, and more human.
I spent eight years at Google running European marketing and the UK & Ireland business — a $5 billion operation. That gave me a deep understanding of how technology companies scale, how consumer behaviour shifts at internet speed, and what great product and marketing looks like when it has real resources behind it.
When I left Google, I went straight into building. I co-founded ClearScore in 2015 — a free credit score and financial marketplace — and we scaled it to 20 million users across 14 countries in four years. I then co-founded Salary Finance, a financial wellbeing platform that gives employees access to affordable loans and savings tools through their employer.
I also spent several years as managing partner for fintech at Blenheim Chalcot, the UK's leading venture builder, where I launched and grew companies including Modulr, Liberis, Koodoo, English Score, and Hive Learning.
Today I invest in early-stage companies, primarily at pre-seed and seed. I back founders who have found a genuine insight about an underserved market — not just a technology looking for a problem. My sweet spots are fintech, financial wellbeing, and businesses using data or AI to change how people interact with money.
What I bring
I've been on both sides of this — as a founder raising money, and as an investor writing cheques. What founders tell me they value is direct, honest feedback from someone who has genuinely done it: built products, hired teams, navigated regulation, raised rounds, and scaled internationally.
I don't just offer capital. I help with go-to-market strategy, financial services regulation, hiring for key roles, and introductions to the people who actually matter.
